Project context
The Tizert project is a strategic mining development that includes the
installation of a conveyor system designed for material transport.
RM PRESTATION is mobilized for the pre-assembly, lifting and erection
of the steel and mechanical structures of the conveyor system.
Scope of works
Our teams are working in the Tunnel, DT and CTLR areas, as well as on
the structures of conveyors 1005 and 1037.
- Ground pre-assembly of conveyor sections, including 1005-CTLR and Gantry G5
- Erection of main structures: Head Frame, Drive Tower, trusses and stringers
- Installation and assembly of pulleys
- Fitting of rollers on stations G1 to G5
- Installation of the 1005 gear motor
- Installation of guardrails, stairs, gratings and edge protection
- Installation of ATM units and hoppers in the tunnel area
- Pre-assembly and installation of runway beams
Site constraints and organization
- Coactivity with other trades on a mining site
- High HSE requirements
- On-site fabrication adjustments
- Management of missing parts and component traceability
- Coordination between pre-assembly, lifting and erection
Weekly monitoring is used to track progress, inventories and bottlenecks,
in order to maintain the schedule and secure lifting operations.
Results and key strengths
- Steady progress despite fabrication adjustments
- Validation of key stages: rollers, gear motor and elevated structures
- Structured ground pre-assembly before lifting
- Compliance with HSE procedures and site coordination
RM PRESTATION expertise involved
This project draws on our expertise in steel structure construction and
erection, pre-assembly, lifting, precision handling, industrial mechanical
assembly, HSE monitoring and site organization.
